- Check to see if your policy covers counseling or therapy.
- Ask your doctor for a referral to a therapist.
- Check with local hospitals and clinics for nutrition classes.
The internet can yield a treasure trove of information from experts – just make sure you’re on a reputable site. WebMD.com is excellent, Weight Watchers and eDiets are also very good.
Call your local gym and see if they are running any incentive programs with personal trainers. If they’re open to suggestions, ask if they’ll hold beginner’s classes instead of a one-on-one session to defray cost.
Offer to be a “guinea pig” when they are training new staff. |
